Dubbed “The Harvest from Hell” because of the HUGE amount of fruit – way over what was predicted, we’re blaming it on the 16″ of winter rains mostly. This might sound like good news, but when we were expecting, for example 6,000 pounds of Petite Sirah grapes, and got 13,000 there was a huge scramble for more wine supplies, including a mid week trip to Rialto to pick up 4 more 80 gallon FlexTanks to house the wine! Not to mention a scramble for more people to help harvest!

Oh yes – we DO need to mention those people. We are humbled and SO thankful to all who came to help, working hours, some in 100+ heat the first couple of weekends. Bless you all, over and over!
