Visitors to the vineyard always want to hear the details of the story of how Norm began finding airplane parts as he plowed to prepare the vineyard for planting. They are fascinated when we tell them we found the dog tag from one of the Navy pilots after the Witch Fire in 2007. We are gratified with the care, reverence and thoroughness of the Navy Stricken Aircraft Program Manager and his contractors in their surveying and reporting of the incident.
